Wow, here I am, in the last stretch, and at the same time, I’m still in the beginning phase. After years of dreaming and planning on owning my own business, I am finally seeing it come to life. I know I have so much more growing to do as a photographer and business woman, but I’ve reached a point where I just need to put myself out there and gain real life experience. I know it will be rough starting off, and I know these next few months (heck, years) will be full of trial and error. I’m ready though. Mentally. I can take it. I just have a few more loose ends to tie up and can officially stop portfolio building, and have my GRAND OPENING. While I’m so excited, I can barely breathe when I think about it. I know I just need to leave it in God’s hands (I’ve made it this far with my faith in His plan for me) and trust that this will all work out. Before I go, I just want to thank everyone who has supported me along my journey so far: my wonderful husband and children, my family, my IRL friends and even my web friends (the most fabulous group of women you’d ever meet), and most importantly EVERYONE who stood in front my camera for the past year. Each one of you helped me immensely, and I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t have you to torment with my camera. While this is not every one I shot, here’s a look back at some of my models:
Thank you for all of the hours of listening to and discussing anything photography and photography business related. Thank you for enduring the time in front of my camera (it wasn’t a choice for some of you). Here’s to a successful launch next month!!
